Hello and welcome to my new website!

My name is Hayley Matthews, I am a Scottish landscape artist, self taught, working from my home studio in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

My artwork is inspired by beautiful, dramatic landscapes that simply take your breath away. My positive outlook on life inspires me to take the ordinary and turn it into something extraordinary. I love vibrant colour which captivates you, drawing you in to the scene as though you are somehow there.

I enjoy painting in acrylics due to it’s versatility but keen to experiment with other mediums in the near future!

I am passionate about my art and my style is ever developing.   This is very exciting and I consider myself very blessed to have the freedom to create on a daily basis with the wonderful support from those who collect my work.
